Sorry if I have missed this, but does anyone know why Rose and Clarke-Salter were missing? Thought Sheaf gives us an extra option now. Hopefully Dabo will no longer need to cover the RCB role again. Such a better team when he is playing wingback.

Best signing was Identity and Togetherness

He would have been ideal coming on in the second half yesterday, and will certainly be needed during the season.

I like the way that he doesn't get too excited about making saves. There is no hand slapping or barking. He just gets straight back on it. Seems to have a great level head.

The team will need some serious recovery after last night's efforts. Hopefully Maatsen's hand can just be taped or light cast if fractured.

Although a slightly fortuitous finish, that was some goal starting from the left side of defence. I reckon there must have been 7 players involved in that swift move.

Oh my word, what a game! In the end a great win. Can't say playing one up front is a negative tactic after that! Some great performances but we have to thank Moore for keeping the points. Gyokeres was outstanding. Surprised that Robins subbed both left sided defenders at the same but we survived.

There are several players who look much more confident having had a season in the Championship. Allen has come in and looks like he's been a regular. Really pleased for him.

What a performance. The midfield 4 have been superb. Interplay and one-touch lay offs at times has been sublime. Great movement and work from Gyokeres. And that last save from Moore was Oggy-like!

I can't imagine Godden would have played the 90. Maybe Nee came on for him, despite the ITFC report.

Hardly the most divisive. He has held his hands up re Moore after being doubtful and is concerned about Bright.

He has certainly shown promise and what I like is he grafts and is pacey. He is now also scoring goals albeit in friendlies and u23s. I think he is definitely worth some sub appearances and take it from there.

Allen may start on Tuesday. Maybe Sheaf moving to the bench.

I would like to see Tavares on the bench as an option. Sounds like he grafts, is quick and has scored pre-season. Get the defence stretched. Maybe even to start if Walker is out.
