Good half. Dabo struggling against a very good player. Hyam excellent again; Clarke-Salter good; Allen causing them problems with his runs; best game for Shipley for a long time.

We have played some of our best stuff with Allen in the team. However he doesn't get a consistent run. For me Godden and Gyokeres are more effective when he is playing. Walker and Godden together doesn't look like it is going to work.

Good luck to him. He seems very level headed.

I agree about Maatsen having little support around him. O'Hare tends to drift to the right which enables more link up with Kane, and previously Dabo. Hyam has been a rock that half. Need a bit of dynamism in midfield. Allen for Kelly or Sheaf after 60. Godden keeps getting his feet tangled. Think the pitch looks very slow which may be causing issues.

I see Clarke-Salter is back training with us. Seemed a small group of players though. Didn't spot Jones or Gyokeres in the training photos. No Hamer too so maybe not over his injury.

Hamer is technically very talented. He needs to improve his positional discipline in my view, but I think he is the most able of the squad to step up to the Premier League.

When considering O'Hare's strengths and weaknesses, it may be that he is more suited to dropping deeper?
