EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Obtuse is the sort of out of contract cast off they'll be signing. I've heard Roy O'Dongonzales is signing there on a free too Sent from my ELE-L29 using Tapatalk

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I've got to say I'm a firm believer that it should have been home and away ppg so sympathise with Peterborough on that.

Why would the anti body test show the study to be so wrong? I think you're wrong on this one Dom. Even if the antibody test showed 10% of the population had been affected it would be a huge huge difference from modelling Sent from my ELE-L29 using Tapatalk

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Isn't Tranmere's argument against any eventuality weakened by the fact they've dug their pitch up? (although that might improve it as a playing surface actually) Sent from my ELE-L29 using Tapatalk

What is it about Bournemouth and West Ham and what relevance does it have to League 1 anyway? Sent from my ELE-L29 using Tapatalk

No it isn't - the question here is about whether it's wise, when there are still high numbers of infected people out in the community, to rebuild a web of links between them and non-infected people through schoolkids going back to school. Why is there an arbitrary date rather than a threshold?

Exactly, from June 1st there are 6 or 7 weeks left, it is nothing in the grand scheme of things. That last half term at school was a complete doss when we were at school anyway, school trips, sports day etc.

It isn't just about the safety of the children though, is it? 15 kids (if that happens) in a class room going home to 15 families, you can quite quickly see how infections multiply

    salary cap proposed

Yet more fiddling around the edges whilst allowing all sorts at the top of the shop. Pointless. If you think about the bigger picture though, it says a lot for the likelihood of the PL and / or Championship moving to breakaway from the rest of the FL entirely.

Outside the box idea to settle League 1

See if this works. This shows the PPG of teams on 6th March 2019, and the PPG at the end of the season and how much the change of PPG for the games beyond that date changed and the extent to which the team's project points tally changed from PPG as of 6th March and PPG at the end of the season...

Outside the box idea to settle League 1

I think you're ignoring the fundamental reason why teams do not want to play on which is about finances. What happens if I'm a team that wants to play on but all of my opponents do not? It's flawed. PPG is and always has been the only way.

I'd put a 100% surcharge on the cost of it tbh, i have thought this for a long time. I'd do the same for the 'shit in a tray' places, especially ones using those vile polystyrene trays.

Yes, O'Brien is a twat. He spent a long time rubbishing the only viable opposition before the election and now shows buyer's remorse afterwards. Stupid c**t.

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

It isn't bad, it is utterly pathetic. It is 3 months late. It offers nothing like the capacity needed now given the residual rate of infection in the community. If it had been in place by the end of Feb it might have been so much better.
