Think that’s quite pessimistic. Didn’t have Rudoni or Thomas for Soton, and Wright didn’t have a great game but we still looked decent. Swansea aren’t as good. We’ve got plenty of quality these days, every reason to expect something from the game.

Think Swansea is a more difficult game than Derby. But I like the look of our run in now, nothing there that scares me.

Not a must win. If Wright, Rudoni and Thomas all out wouldn't mind us going pretty compact and direct and see what happens. Next 5 fixtures after this are where we need to attack and go and win promotion imo

I think his positioning out wide has generally been fine, it's on the ball where he's a risk.

Asante goes AWOL playing the 10, we lack any structure when he does. Would be interested to see Esse there at some point, although only if he can be sensible and limit flicks, tricks and backheels to the attacking 3rd.

    Lati

Woolf is still better than Lati. And it's more about confidence or willingness, Lati would never take the step into midfield areas.

    Lati

    all a bit hypothetical

    Lati

do we concede that many goals from corners?
  10. skybluecam

    Lati

By definition it doesn't mean you mark the nearest man either Watching that corner back the problem is that no one gets anything on it before it arrives in the 6 yard box, that's where the errors are really. None of Esse, Torp or Simms are making an active attempt to play the ball, they all...

    Lati

Lati literally never does it unless forced, and it limits us in possession on his side What makes you say they were incredibly bad?

    Lati

Lati's mythical "no nonsense" aura would've kept them out

    Ratings v Saints

Mason Clark was involved a fair amount but his output left a lot to be desired. Crosses and shots generally poor, certainly not worthy of an 8 rating!

    Summer transfer rumours

Brighton have an option I think so essentially 2 years on his contract.

    Premier League thread

Ref has just sent a Leeds player off because he forgot he was already on a yellow :ROFLMAO:
  18. skybluecam

    Lati

Maybe true, but he's much worse in possession, doesn't have the ability to step into midfield like the others do. It's pick your poison really.

Match Thread Coventry City - Southampton Match Thread - Saturday 14th Mar

He was always going to pick Eccles, he's been the 2nd choice there all season. I would certainly not have started Esse there, who has a shown poor decision making in possession a lot, against what was one of the best sides in the league on current form. Would've brought him on instead of BTA at...

    Lati

Lati did his best to singlehandedly throw away the result at Bristol lol I'm not sure I'd blame either of the CBs for the goals - first one, it's a dangerous ball in and quite unfortunate with the combination of Rushworth and the post putting it right on Downes' toe. Second goal one of the...
