Even if care homes have some culpability, who is it that has designed a care home system that relies on paying private companies a pittance to look after very vulnerable people?

4794 daily cases reported at the peak, 22,814 tests that day. Though i am pretty sure pillar 2 didn't exist then, that was all pillar 1 testing.

The majority of positive cases are pillar 2 which is people out in the community, given that they processed 19k tests and it is 2 tests per individual, that means they're testing around 9k people under that pillar. Roughly 4% positive.

I've bought some from a woman who makes them around here. I went shopping last night and bar one other person was the only one in the store wearing one. I've yet to see an over 60 year old wearing one.

I was wondering what the prevalence of cold and flu had been like post lockdown. I don't tend to get much of it myself, but social distancing is obviously key as my two year old hasn't had anything at all and toddlers are usually always snotty.

Is it inevitable that Robins will leave us this season?

Last time I went there (won 2-0 or 2-1), it absolutely pissed down, touch and go whether the match went ahead. Pretty sure it pissed down in that 3-3 cup game as well.

    George Floyd

It's common sense for somebody who wants to live in a police state. The police should not be stopping anybody unless they have reasonable suspicion that the person has been involved in a crime.

No, we're not beating it. We are repelling it for now, it won't be beaten due to the way it was allowed to let rip, but after nearly 4 months we've got daily infections down under 500. I said 200k deaths by next March, maybe we won't get there but 100k is not out of the question.

I'm with you on that to an extent, but two wrongs don't make a right and running around a pitch at contact you'll be shedding a lot of virus. They had the CEO of Powerleague on Radio 5 last night who was making a similar case but also that they'd put steps in place to mitigate risk in any case...
