I see that the Brexit Party must be Marxists with a magic money tree as well.

That’s pretty much where I was in 2017. Since then however I’ve read up a lot on socialism, especially the Nordic Model that’s largely adopted in the happiest countries in the world and have had a road to Damascus convertion from Tory voter to socialist. On that front Labour is about as near as...

Had chance to read through some of the in brief reviews of the Labour manifesto and have to say how refreshing it is to see a manifesto that appeals to aspirations instead of fears.

The C4 Tory Leadership debate that Boris also ducked out off, was by far the best of them. Controlled and to the point. Krishnan Guru-Murphy was excellent. Not sure if he was lined up to do this but I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the reason he’s ducked out again.

Given his apparent success in the last leadership debate it seems strange that Boris has pulled out of the C4 one. #runningscared #darenotopenmymouthinpublicbecauseillputmyfootinit.

He had an almost 19,000 majority at the last election so hardly good news for the Tories when if safe seat like this one is losing best part of 25% of it’s majority. If that trend is nationwide Tory marginals will be under threat and they won’t have a chance of turning over the marginals that...

Marginally (in the big scheme of things) more than the Tories. Only Labour are talking about tax rises to pay for it whereas the Tories are talking about tax cuts so presumably have found this fabled magic money tree you’re going on about to pay for it. I suspect that when all the details are...

    General Election 2019 thread

You do realise that the Tories are apparently cutting taxes while increasing spending significantly. If I was you I would wait until all the manifestos are all printed and been scrutinised before declaring that one party needs a magic money tree when early indications are that the Tories will...

Why can’t the Tory Party just admit that Boris got it wrong to Diane Abbott proportions rather than piss around making out what Boris said was right. They’re just lighting a fire under the Boris is a liar stack of used tyres. Chancellor skewered over Boris Johnson's wrong claim he'll give...

It’s the latest poll from MORI. The BBC are clearly waiting for Cummings to give Kuenessberg permission to report on it. Interestingly the shift has come in the last week, the previous week the same pollsters had Brexit as the No 1 concern for voters.

Watch the whole thing and how his face immediately drops when Corbyn says that before we talk about Prince Andrew let’s think of the victims and the reaction it got from the audience. That was the realisation of a man who’d just said that the royal were beyond reproach when in fact they aren’t.
