Why is everyone so Anti Paul Ince?

9 in a row does point a little to a lost the plot moment, but maybe there were other circumstances to consider too. You compare that however to the likes of Paul Tisdale whose team went 125 games without back to back defeats and it looks even more dreadful.

Why is everyone so Anti Paul Ince?

Robins left but is blamed for managing a team he wasn't even leading? Hmmmmm, let's not let facts get in the way of a good story. ;) Don't think people are that anti-Ince, just that they don't think he is the answer and just another 'name.' This stuff they pick up on though. Milton Keynes...

    If City were a band

Indeed. Got about 6 of their albums and seen them live too.

    If City were a band

    Killing Joke?

    If City were a band

When have City been runners-up to anything. Is there a band called the also-rans by any chance?

    Megadeth? :(

    Ince, Robins or Shaw

Yep, Robins. Always thought he was a decent manager and though not on my own list of candidates I would want here we could do a lot worse. We need someone with experience of working on a tiny budget and he fits that profile. If that's the 3 I hope it's him.

    If City were a band

    Or the Canadian band 'Low.'

    Ince, Robins or Shaw

Ince was brilliant in his first spell at Macclesfield. That was nearly 6 years ago though. Got rid of from his last 3 positions.

    If City were a band

Who would we be? I can only think of 'One Direction' at the moment.

    Ince, Robins or Shaw

And Ince by all accounts has always wanted to be backed financially by boards. Robins has always worked on a very small budget.

Only one man to blame for this- Thorn

The other thing here about Shaw is that you have to say that the team he has is entirely Andy Thorn's so he can hardly be blamed for that.

Only one man to blame for this- Thorn

Maybe they're drunk off Andy Thorn's success.

    Ince, Robins or Shaw

I thought they were good players cos Andy Thorn told me they were. Having seen them now though I'm not so sure.

    Ince, Robins or Shaw

Thing that worries me about Ince is that he is a 'name' and could be still living off his reputation as a player. Started off really brightly in management and then the last 2 outings for him have ended in failure. Would prefer Robins, but none of those mentioned are on on my list of strong...

    Ince, Robins or Shaw

Out of the 3 I would want Robins.

    Ince, Robins or Shaw

Well that's what I'm thinking. May be just to keep him sweet. Though dare say if he had won all the games for which he's been in charge he would have been a very easy and cheap choice for the board to make.

Great game, but obviously gutted with the result. The wide receiver who induced that flag right at the end needs shooting.

    Ince, Robins or Shaw

    Shaw? Don't you mean "Shawsy?"

    Ince, Robins or Shaw

Not inspired by any of them at a time we needed an inspired choice, but if it's Ince it's Ince. We need more Macclesfield though and a lot less Notts County. If this turns out to be true our lot are going to be in for a big shock in going from "Shawsy" to "The Guvnor."
