I'd take anything turner says with a pinch of salt, he does ask the club but the club is not going to confirm anything with him until everything is complete and the player is being pictured at Ryton.
there is still lots, lots more than they thought and planned for though. Sold more tickets it seems but people don't want to move to behind the goal it seems
And not good enough for the level they aim to be at.
They also have a load of promising young English players coming through their academy.
You can say they want as "depth" but the drop in ability from their first team squad to O'Hare is massive.
No, he's not at the level they want as a back up. He is not good enough to step in at a PL team who wants to be chasing Europe.
Sorry but it's delusional to think he is.
No one in the championship is going to pay him 40k a week, he'll end up staying at West Ham the whole of his contract then leaving on a free if that happened.
Especially as they have players better in his role and are looking at getting to the next level.
He's not as good as say Benrahma who they have shipped out
It's bad for his campaign though, yes it will fire up his base but the actual people he needs to vote for him are independent moderates and this is likely to turn a large number off of that.
People forget he needs normal people to vote for him as well.
