Not sure. I know that they have an order of the elephant which is ordained by the royal family onto dignitaries in Denmark and around the world. It’s sort of an elite knighthood for people who already have titles. You also see lots of swastika symbols also around Denmark. Pre dating the Nazi use...

    Very Cool Scandinavian Supporters Flag/Badge

Interesting Danish fact and tenuous Coventry/Scandinavia connection. The Elephant with Castle on it’s back is a very common symbol in Denmark. You’ll see it on coat of arms all over the place. I think it’s a direct historical link to the Danish royal family if I remember correctly.

    Iran & USA

None taken Here’s the similarities. The former French Indochina was a mess after WW2. Both regions are former colonies of European countries. Both regions are being pulled by Russia and America in opposite directions for their own gain and ideology. Not a lot I know but it’s there.

    Iran & USA

Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia. Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan. History repeating. The west will abandon Iraq and Afghanistan and Iran will try and fill the void much as Vietnam tried to following the collapse of French Indochina and the West abandoning it following the US’ hastily retreating from Ho Chi Minh...

    Iran & USA

People should read up on the history of Vietnam and Afghanistan from when the US first intervened in both countries. Vietnam, Cambodia, Iran, Iraq. History repeating and largely for the same reasons. The US got involved in Afghanistan when it was under Soviet rule arming, funding and training...

    Iran & USA

Years before it was the US that was funding, training and arming Bin Laden. This is what the US does, create monsters and then fall out with them.

    James Maddison

When we sold him didn’t the club state that we had a stake in his entire career? If that’s the case I would say yes, we are due some money when Leicester sells him.

    Iran & USA

You seem to be under idea that if you get a country or the man it’s over, you’ve won. It’s bigger than that. Rich Hall put it well when talking about the assassination of Osama Bin Laden, just because it’s Colonel Sanders face on the bucket it doesn’t mean he’s out back frying the chicken. This...

    Iran & USA

Watching some of the coverage of his funeral making its way through Iraq and Trump seems to have done something never achieved before. Unite Iran and Iraq. Against the West and specifically America but unite them nether the less. Well done you genius. This ain’t going to end well.

The opposite is actually true. He’s running scared in the face of desperation to be re-elected. These are the actions of a scared, desperate, narcissistic and dangerous man who will do literally anything in the hope of earning him re-election. This is anything but an act of bravery.

Stars you've met and chatted to.....

A very very drunk Nick Knowles at twickenham after an England game, I was also very drunk. I thought he’d be taller. Nice guy though, we chatted for about half an hour. Geoff Miller, an old cricketer. Not into cricket and had never heard of him at the time. Spent a few hours in his company and...

    Mark Robins

I think that one of the most remarkable aspects of Robins achievements as manager of CCFC is that he’s had to do it without the luxury of having what Jimmy had. Everyone including the owners pulling in the same direction with a clear focus and goal. On that basis you could argue that Robins is...

    Rumour from the boardroom

Based on information known at the time. The breach was 10’s of thousands and deemed accidental whereas the Saracens breach was in the millions and deemed deliberate. If an outcome of the FCA investigation is that Wasps breach was actually more serious than known at the time and if it’s proven...

    Rumour from the boardroom

Here’s a thought. Saracens were docked points and fined for salary cap breach. If Wasps have cooked their books although it might not be to bypass the salary cap but because of the bonds is it possible that it’s inadvertently put them in the same breach of rules as Saracens and therefore face...
