    Nationalism

The idea of a 'culture' in the west is pretty false. There are people with different political and religious belief but essentially all in the consumer culture, that's it.

The most mundane games for the first third of the season, Cardiff or Swansea away

    Nationalism

It's easy enough to pontificate about Scots' attitude towards the English when we're not the ones ruled from what is perceived asanother country. People in England get pissed off when they see Nicola Sturgeon on telly, imagine she was PM!? For what it's worth though, I do think the nationalist...

The amount of money the McKinseys of this world leach from the public purse beggared belief. I was working on a programme that basically paid £1.3m for a few slide decks.

    Baka

If we had £2m to spend i wouldn't spend it on a player in Collins who will be 30 this season and has probably peaked. On relegation he'd probably have to be sold at a loss in any case. The kind of stupid decision making behind signing Cody Mcdonald.

Council meeting for Mark and I

I'm struggling a little bit now to understand what the point of much more engagement with the council is. What are we expecting to hear from them or what do we want?

    Born again

1950, born into a cradle to grave welfare state, free higher education and a booming economy. Good chance of being able to retire at a reasonable age on a good pension. I'll still be bitter as fuck about it all and want to make sure young people or foreigners don't get anything for free, unlike me.

    Wolves v Coventry

Given our shortage of striking options already, the lack of game time for Biamou doesn't suggest he's in Robins' plans. I'm sure we could offload him to Bristol Rovers if they want him.

I noticed he doesn't have a twitter bio / mention he plays for us, I'm sure he did previously

Agree entirely. I've said on here before that I'd argue that the scope of objectives that a CEO of a local authority has to work to is far broader than any CEO in the private sector.

Council meeting for Mark and I

I sort of agree but then he's got a large team of other highly paid execs underneath him, he isn't running anything on his own.

    Transfer Rumour Jonathan Panzo

We signed Konjic in Feb 99, Henry signed for Juventus for £10.5m in Jan 99 then Arsenal later that year. I highly doubt we ever had a chance of signing him, our record signing at that point was £3m. One player we were linked with and scouted heavily was David Trezeguet iirc
