bawtry is quite reliable, I quite like Freddie Ladapo if he's got some Rotherham gossip. Or maybe Sheaf is signing.

Get a striker in and I'll feel pretty decent about the season.

Christ. Once again, Palace released Allasani before the big injury, it is completely false to state that the big injury is why he didn't make it, clearly Palace didn't rate his prospects. The club's financial status does not have any affect on the standard of the league they're competing in...

New Player Incoming - Leo Ostigard

Allen has played there too. It's funny listening to you Trust / Council types. On the one hand you're correctly pointing out that SISU should have run the club better and it shouldn't have made significant losses from 2007 to 2013 (particularly in the Championship era) yet on the other you're...

They were challenging for the play offs due in no small part to the goals of Toney who they're about to sell, as I said, big boots for JCH to fill

HA HA HA, the comparison you made was about today, not their potential years ago. Allasani was released by Palace before he had an injury. He might have fleetingly been a prospect at 16 but that's it. Jones on the other hand as stated above was playing league football at 17.

It is laughable on the basis that Jones as it stands has played league football for 5 years at this point and made over 100 appearances despite being injured for most of the last 2.5 getting on for 3 years.

It isn't the end of the world if we haven't. As somebody says above, we might have a slot to fill in Bristol now with any player we've got that is surplus.

Why is it a great move? Its sideways for a player that scored a decent amount in L1 last season, club of equivalent size to Bristol. He's no doubt the replacement for Ivan Tony and therefore has big boots to fill.

    Match Thread Burton friendly

It's positive that we've got back into the groove quickly with the type of attacking football we played last season. Unlike previous seasons we're not trying to learn a new way to play. The midfielders making runs beyond the striker is great to see.

He was 17 when he signed. He progressed massively over that summer in 2017 and was our best player in L2 before his injury. It's laughable that you compare him to Allasani, they're literally leagues apart as players.
