Yes fair play to kilbane....we may not have rated his footballing ability, but he is actually a top bloke...IIRC, he's apparently donating his autobiography proceeds to charity :claping hands:

So we save the rent money !!

You cant really blame the players for accepting stupidly high wages or long contracts - lets face it, we all would....blame the guy(s) who negotiated the contracts

CET: Ricoh talks back on "It's what the fans want us all to do"

Didnt see your earlier post, but i think that is a fair conclusion. TF will be patting himself on the back if this comes off, but in the long term, what's the point of SISU staying if they can't get their grubby hands on our stadium, as surely that is all they're interested in

CET: Ricoh talks back on "It's what the fans want us all to do"

Ok, so looking ahead, it appears as though the rent issue maybe sorted at some point (hopefully), which will be a great relief all round, but i really think that SISU have caused irreparable damage to their relationship with Higgs and the council. Cant really think that CovCC or Higgs will want...

If the club can't own the Stadium....

I believe the Higgs Trust have quite strict guidelines on selling their stake, so swapping it for a stake in a valueless football club would be hugely unlikely

    What should happen Poll

Technically ACL cant sue SISU for the million pounds, as its CCFC who owe the rent money

    All Ricoh/ alternative ground comments.

Would anyone trust sisu/ccfc to honour a future long term debt eg paying the extra when they're promoted....with their track record ??

    All Ricoh/ alternative ground comments.

Christ on a bike...fancy asking CCFC to pay their arrears upfront especially with their excellent credit record...ACL being unreasonable again ;)

    Fisher on CWR

Like the building of the Ricoh was forced upon us because we had no ground to play in ???? We were TOTALLY rescued from oblivion by the council and the Higgs Charity (ACL) The 'outside bunch of capitalist money whores' you so elequently put, are SISU, the Mayfair based hedge fund, not ACL, the...

OSB gives THE most unbiased, fair and accurate assessments, based on the albeit limited facts we fans are given. PWKH Any news you can give us>

If SISU were serious about the rent being too high, then they should at least be paying what they consider to be a 'fair' rent, instead of nothing. The fact that they are paying nothing is a worrying (or hopeful) sign...by paying something, it indicates they are intending to stay, but by paying...

PWKH Any news you can give us>

Robinson was quoted as saying I don’t believe Sisu are entirely to blame for this. The charity was never intended to have those shares in the stadium for the long term. It has held onto them for far too long. It should get out at whatever price it can. There's just so much wrong with those...
