No I wouldn't have, league is where I use all of my stats. If I did use them and the situation was the other way round, you and Grendel would point to the fact it was against Morecambe... Anyway, with cups, Fleck has more assists and same amount of goals in even less games, so that's a...

    New Centre Half

I know, but I'm saying Grandison didn't appear like he could hack it at the time he was allowed to o to Shrews, especially as Cameron was playing well with Turner.

In the league he's got 1, he scored v Morecambe in the FA Cup and Barton has got 3 blockbuster goals. Deano, get them in your film night! I was only counting League, sorry.

    New Centre Half

That weren't the only game he's been bad in, there's others, like Morecambe in the League Cup under Hoofroyd.

Double the goals of McSheffrey ;) with 2  Weren't McSheffrey suppose to score 10-15 goals this season? :thinking about:

    New Centre Half

Your point being what? He played terrible whereas the others were head and shoulders above him, despite not having a great game themselves, if my memory serves me right.

    Fleck, Barton, Thomas

Ok, well assists are important, are they not? The way you and others go on about Fleck and Barton you'd think they had 0 goals and 0 assists between them, but, they don't, they have made contributions to the team. If anyone would improve the team then I'd sign them. I don't know how these...

    New Centre Half

Grandson was poor at the time he was with us, the 3-1 loss v Reading at home when he played CB still haunts me! In fairness to the lad though, he's reinvented himself at L2 and got promoted and is a key player at Shrews in L1, kudos.

I doubt he'd be available for a loan, free, or nominal fee, so no, we couldn't sign him. It would also depend if he'd actually add anything to the side and numerous factors. Didn't see the point of your post tbh.

I haven't seen him play, I don't know who he is either? What position and why do you think we should swoop for him?

    Cody recalled..

Just wow. Elliott has given the ball away virtually every time he's had the fucker last 3 games and hasn't scored a single goal since Oldham, Clarke has scored 3 on the bounce! Ridiculous post! He is truly an awful player.

I agree with this thread, I hope the new manager picks them, at least I've them a chance, it'd be such a shame to see their talent wasted, Fleck, after all the grief he gets, still has more assists than any of our players bar Baker, who has played double matches, he and Barton have more goals...

    New Centre Half

... But we hadn't conceded under LC, and had to be when Edj played, by now means am I blaming him, although he was out of position for their goal, because 3/4 of the defenders were shit, the 1 good performer being Christie, that said, Cameron was better than Edj and 'Dicko', which says a lot...

    New Centre Half

Cameron isn't great and I hope we replace him, but does anyone find it ironic that as soon as Edj comes back, we concede 2 after not conceding for 2 games? (Tenuous link I know, meant more of a joke than serious analysis, but Edj is shitter than Cameron) I've just watched the goal again, 'right...

The Crewe fans holding up "League 2 Champions Flag" and singing wembley song

We were very naive in the 1st leg of the JPT and the 2nd leg, we thought we'd 'overload' Crewe after the 1st goal, but that made us vulnerable, hence 2 more conceded goals, 2nd leg, we rushed everything and were lucky to score from a OG under no pressure, than Clarke scored, we didn't take our...

The Crewe fans holding up "League 2 Champions Flag" and singing wembley song

1 of 3 games I seen you were the better side, Saturday, you set up well and were effective in the 1st leg of the JPT, and beat a naive CCFC, fair play, you took your chances but we were unlucky, some of your lot admitted this. 2nd leg, a poor game from both sides, playing hoofball, and again, a...

The Crewe fans holding up "League 2 Champions Flag" and singing wembley song

We are a better side than Crewe, poor tactics in 4 games didn't help (playing 4-4-2 for 7 halves) all 3 managers were very naive, and in the 2nd leg, we were poor but were the better side, they had 1 good chance (which they should've scored!), we had 2-3 good chances, 1 sitter.

Just incase. I didn't see anyone who said they didn't accept. They may have overpaid, took Otis' suggestion to make a contribution, they must've paid 800k or ACL will tear them to pieces in the PR war, it can't be a lie, if they are lying, it is plain stupidity.
