I am completely sympathetic to the young man's plight and don't really understand why my post could be interpreted otherwise.
Forgive me for asking but are you, well... small?
Anyone viewing this thread can see the dynamic. I politely questioned your post, no aggression, no insults, and got in return a bunch of name calling and insults. It's there for all to see.
Do me a favour. The OP (and the original article) made it quite clear that whatever the illness was he would not be allowed to participate in team sports in Scotland. The implication is quite clear and the possibilities are very limited.
It works both ways Astute, I have been called a SUSI lover/sympathizer many times despite the fact that I have expressed my hatred for SISU on just as many occasions.
Did you? Did you predict the return to the Ricoh? Did you predict the sale of ACL to a rugby club? Did you predict the sacking of SP? Did you predict the reappointment of TM?
It didn't offend me either but that wasn't what I asked, I just thought it was a bit mean spirited. I suppose we will have to live with 'not compassionate' from you and call that a wrap.
And if you thought that discussing his health was not compassionate why didn't you close the thread?
Didn't you say you disapproved of Bigi's health being speculated upon? But then that can't be the case can it because you did not delete the thread. A thread not only speculating about his health but making the point that whatever the health problem is it means he is not allowed to play a team...
But I'm not the moderator Nick, you are. Surely when you saw that someone had started a thread about Bigi's health that you find soooo offensive you should have closed it down?
So... answer the question: Do you or do you not think that G's remark was in good taste and well timed?
