    Match Thread Middlesbrough ("H") - Tues 2nd March - 19:00 KO - St. Andrews

I worry about bringing Godden back too soon. I hope he's fully recovered before being risked....as we could really do with him on the final games to ensure our place in the Championship for next season.

    Ian St John

My recollection exactly and thought he was a big influence in the dressing room. However, he was clearly upset with how Noel Cantwell was exited. On the plus we began the Mercer & Milne period with two awesome signings to kick off with.....I do also wonder what would have happened if Brian...

    Ian St John

That’s how I remember the sequence of events. He was a decent player for us, but was in the twilight of his career.

    Birmingham's ground is falling down

It’s not just stadia. The issues of build quality with new build housing is currently being raised and add to that the cladding issue on flats ..... it paints a picture of poor practice from the large companies in the sector.

I'm unsure of who I want to lose the most out of those two.

    Will we stay up ?

Rubbish - compare the team MR took over when we got relegated to L2 to last seasons team. He had to work within the same financial structure and yet managed to redevelop the team with the recruitment of Doyle, Kelly, McNulty, etc... Compare and contrast! It was obvious that due to the major...

    Will we stay up ?

If Blues go down a lot of the blame should be focussed on the owners strategic and operational decisions.

    Ricoh Return

On the subject of season ticket sales. We have traditionally been weaker in the numbers sold, in comparison to clubs we consider a similar size to ourselves. I would hope we could sell at least 10k season tickets if we stay up. One big issue for our supporters will be economic environment and...

In respect to Walsh, I would welcome him back, but our medics must ensure he's fully fit with no long term adverse impact of whet seems a nasty injury. ref. Max. I would retain him as a back up as he's not likely to cost too much, but think we would move to the next level with a new striker...

    Ricoh Return

I would really hope so, as the team deserve that level of support for their work over ....what would be past 4 seasons by that point. It would be great to see if we can sell over 12k season tickets.

You might be right, but there are numerous presidents under international law, which our government has signed up to adhere to under the Brexit agreement.

Does anyone know if/when Walsh will be fit again to play football. He's not played all season?

    Ricoh Return

Have Wasps forgotten about the reference to illegal state aid that was lodged with the European commission? That was a big issue for them last year......I don't think it's disappeared.

    Crowds next season

History suggests that your projection could be correct. Factors that will affect the level will include: 1. Whether we are in the championship and at the Ricoh or St.A. I would guess attendances at StA would average at 9 - 10k. 8k Cov fans in the Championship and 6k back in Div 1 with average...
