Bearing in mind the threadbare nature of the team...

How does how fat he is have any bearing on things?

If City survive this season, would you keep AT as manager?

Think one thing Thorn can be praised for is in keeping morale and spirits up. Would say he has been a good motivator. Think this is proven in the amount of games we have been in until the final few minutes.

    Thorn with money!

It isn't people changing their minds. I think it's more that the people who thought he was doing a great job Case for the prosecution.

    Thorn with money!

Still don't see how he can be doing a great job with us being pretty much rock bottom and 7 points adrift since Christmas. If he keeps us up then he can maybe be labelled with having done a great job. Just how many points adrift at the bottom would we need to be for him to have been doing a...

If City survive this season, would you keep AT as manager?

Not so sure. None of us expected us to be 7 points adrift at the bottom by Christmas. We have pretty much been bottom since. I'm with Mustard. If we have a sudden upsurge in our fortunes and survive then maybe he should be given more time. Thorn however shouldn't benefit on a achievement...

    Fixtures to come

But odds are that we are not going to win all of those. There are 6 home games there. Say if we win 4 of those then that will be a really good return. An excellent return. 4 home wins out of those 6 will give us a return of 12 points only put us on 37 points in total. Nowhere near enough to...

    Fixtures to come

Don't want to piss on anyone's chips here, but there has been a lot of talk about the games we have left against the bottom teams. Well, I think we need to remember that not only will these be hard, but that we have a fair few tough away fixtures to come too. Away games that look really...

Lack of goals from open play

Eastwood is only there cos there's no-one else. We need more strikers in.

Lack of goals from open play

Only Freddie on the bench last night.

    Just Deserts ....."At Last"

Yes, well done, and I don't wish to be cruel here, but the fact is that Thorn had to play that team and had to ditch the diamond. Not so sure we can praise his tactics as his hand was forced. We should praise him though for motivating the players and keeping their spirits up.

Bearing in mind the threadbare nature of the team...

AT was going to bring subs on. Luckily for us though, Redfearn made subs and totally cocked it up when he took a striker off and brought a defender on. That then gave the initiative to us. Thorn didn't have to change anything after that.

Saturday - Something's got to give

As OSB said, this is all on the back of one victory. We shouldn't get carried away here. Remember the two back to back wins at Christmas? After that we then went on a terrible run. Saturday is massive, but a draw would stop the rot of away defeats and that is crucial.

So, what EXACTLY is required for City to stay up?

Let's hope he stays fit and healthy then.
