    Stuart Linnell should be sacked

Well said, the army is always an emotional soft-spot that is used by some people to manipulate other people. I remember watching BBC QT, and many people were questioning cuts to military, saying we need an army to protect our borders... From what? There's no threat of a world conflict and...

    Sides

What a pathetic statement Many people have said that about SISU on anything and everything, you didn't say that was pathetic. Both statements are nonetheless factually incorrect whether aimed at SISU or the SBT.

    Councillor Kevin Maton

Where did I say we'll get it for free or even should get it for free!? I can remember some tool, can't remember who, it was a few months back, suggesting that after everything is paid off (loan etc.) that ACL would hand the RICOH back to the club under the ownership of the trust, now that's...

    Councillor Kevin Maton

Think about it, we own the RICOH, we get the revenues of any event held at the RICOH, concerts, sports events etc. its huge potential for the club. Jan, I'm about to join the Trust, but talk like this is why I've criticised the SBT for not having a business mind, don't put me off.

    Fleck, Barton, Thomas

That 'Thorn spawn' is completely flawed if you're going to use it against me, I've been Barton and Fleck's biggest defenders, I rate them both and they could be the main men for next season. Fleck is my favourite player, look to the 'awards thread'. As for Edj, I don't like him because I...

    Councillor Kevin Maton

I wouldn't vote for Labour (or, LibDem and I'd never vote Tory, never ever ever!). When I do vote, I won't vote on policy for CCFC, I vote on issues like tax, NHS, economic policy, etc. etc. national issues, not a small time stadium in Coventry, and most people don't vote for their MP, they...

    Team for Walsall

I'd keep the same team, except I'd start Wilson or Cody for Ball and maybe Thomas in for Bailey? If Willis is fit, I'd like to see him feature before the end of the season.

Out of contract this summer - who would you retain?

Murphy - can't see him going Christie - real possibility he goes Wood - can't see him taking a big pay cut Baker - could go, don't think he'll attract much interest, being 30 Leon Clarke - he won't go, under contract and just joined

I knew the council would never sell, shows at least 50% of ACL have not got the interests of CCFC at heart!

    GOD loves the CITY

So was God at fault for our suffering in the first place? Or do we only attribute good things to God, not the bad? We won because we played well, Pressley got his tactics right, not some mystical 'gift' from God.

Out of contract this summer - who would you retain?

Waggot signs the players, but Thorn identifies his targets, that's the normal role of a 'Director of Football'. Example, Thorn said he wanted McG, when we signed him, Waggott said to Shaw & LC hat he was available, they said they wanted him, we sign him. Funny how you blame shit signings on...

Out of contract this summer - who would you retain?

That's factually incorrect, in about 7-8 appearances (about 5 starts) he scored 1, in the same amount of time, Clarke scored about 3-4, Elliott is painfully impotent and all he does is 'works hard'. In 24 appearances, he's scored 4, 0.16 a game. You also have to accommodate this by taking a...

Thanks, that's actually helpful. So, the mighty McSheffrey could manage no more assists, and one less goal in 700 more minutes!?

    Coventry vs Doncaster match thread

McSheffrey has 35 starts to Fleck's 20, 15 more appearances, I also bet McSheffrey has had a lot more 'minutes played'. Also, McShreffrey has had a consistent run of 20-odd straight starts? Fleck has been in and out and still has better stats and is overall the better player.

Wilson linked up with Moussa that yielded a way-ward shot, and he nearly used is pace to get a 1 v 1. I'd personally start Cody, better than both of them.

    L1 Squad 2013-14

Bare in mind Donny are top of the league with a game in hand, there were always going to fight back, they have a good team. Bailey was missing the whole game tbf, you mention nothing of him, Barton and Fleck got their foot in quite a lot, more than I expected, also, they were good and should...

How many has McSheffrey had? 46-48? Fleck was sporadically in the team, Sheff had a consistent run, and was consistently shit.

    Coventry vs Doncaster match thread

Yes we did, he's our 'biggest threat'! Seriously though, he's fucking terrible, so glad he got dropped, about time top, if it were Fleck or Barton playing that, you'd have Grendel and Stupot all over them slagging them off, clear double standards.

Ball was shit, Wilson looked much more a potent threat when he was on. His best shot on the penalty spot, give or take a couple of yards, went out for a throw-in! Got bullied by Rob Jones and he shown why he's only started 5 games and not scored yet - disappointing signing! Glad fans don't...
