I do think the team lacks an older experienced player to help on the pitch when things are big going to plan. Both Brighton and Brentford have always added that type of player to their young talented squads

I agree with that. However up until the final day of the window we had EMC agreed and coming. Posh moved the goalposts by their own admission when they couldn’t secure his replacement.

Tats didn’t pick up an injury through fatigue. He was picked because he’s one of our best players. If we had bought a loan in Tats would still have played. I too would have loved a couple more additions but I don’t buy the whole lack of squad depth bullshit. We have much greater depth this...

Hull are pursuing a shit or bust strategy. They don’t own many of the players and if they don’t go up this season then they will be back to square 1 come the summer. By contrast we own almost all of our players …..we will add EMC in the summer and Robins expects significant other business too...

The players undoubtedly got it wrong but Robins got the initial team selection wrong, waited too long to act, then got the change in formation wrong.
