Pressleys just signed one striker, released another one because he didn't fit in the team and declined to sign one because he didn't see him as the long term answer.
I wasn't suggesting that the manager called the game off, just that its convenient for them that the match is postponed with the new manager. So maybe NTFC didn't do all in their power to get the pitch into a playable state for the match.
Northampton have just appointed Wilder, possibly Northampton being a bit sly and wanting the new man to have a full week training with the players before he takes charge?
I agree, I understand Denzel and Urquart were signed for the development squad but if they can't get in ahead of 16/17 year olds now then it doesn't look good for their future development
Why don't we just promote the one that the telegraph set up in the summer

I know it was done before the move was announced but surely it has the same purpose/meaning. Already has 12.5k signatures
Puts them back into the race for 4th place. Will be interesting to see how Moyes will accomodate him, Rooney and RVP, will almost certainly need a change of formation.
The one where he hit the post wasn't even an easy chance thpugh. 18 yards out, ball rolled back to him, taking it first time on his weaker foot through bodies. If he'd had planted it in the corner which he nearly did it would have been a brilliant finish
The stewards at the ground practically waved him on to the pitch and made way for him to go on, he was middle aged man and not the fittest so its not like he vaulted over the barrier before the stewards could stop him.
From where I was sitting I could see he was going to do it, took a good...
The first two post on this thread are bang out of order, this wasn't an Arsenal B team.
The players did the club proud tonight, we were better than Arsenal for the majority of the second half and a 4-0 was not a fair reflection on the game.
