    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Scottish people voted Labour in their droves when it was a left wing social democrat party. When it abandoned that under New Labour the SNP came in and filled the gap with some of the policies they adopted that had been dropped in England, e.g. No tuition fees.

    Man beheaded in Paris

The conversation is about Islamic terrorism. It's a separate issue entirely from the other stone aged belief. There are 1.8bn muslims in the world, if it was so inherently violent why haven't predominantly Muslim countries been those to rage war all over the world? I'm not burying my head in...

    Man beheaded in Paris

The point is there is no trend to suggest that it's a growing problem. Let's take 2017 into account too if you like, over the last 10 years 60 people have been killed in terror attacks of which 42 were in 2017. I know from your comments on the corona thread that significant chunks of the...

    Man beheaded in Paris

Let what happen? 5 terrorist deaths in the last 3 years in the UK? We've already got a very very heavy surveillance state with serious anti terrorist laws that encroach on everybody's civil liberties. It's very rare that a terrorist isn't on a watch list of some sort. What are you suggesting?

I've always liked Arcade Fire but unfortunately haven't seen them live, shame as they're just awesome, a wall of sound:

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Have you read the report? The leader of the party is not supposed to interfere in dealing with complaints of AS. The fact he got involved to try and root it out is held against him in the report.

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Final post from me on this. The scale of the antisemitism problem under the control Labour party described in this report bears no relation to the headlines and media reports of the last few years. The report is just full of paragraphs inferring something but produces little more beyond that. I...

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Oh fuck off. The media conspiracy is not about a 'jewish media' but a fucking right wing one determined to deliver yet more of the same sort of government we'd had for 40 years.

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Around the party? So not in it and not something that the party or Corbyn can legitimately be made accountable for. Imagine the Tories being held to the same standards?

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Not sure that's true at all. Text in red is absolutely no denial that it existed, quite the opposite. Text in blue is absolutely spot on. The EHRC press release when read against the actual report demonstrates the point perfectly. The way the media then report on the press release shows it again.

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Nothing wrong with the statement he's made. The EHRC press release compared with the actual report content shows him to be spot on. Fuck Labour. I didn't vote for the party because of Corbyn by any means, but there really is nothing worth voting for.

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

REACT survey reckons there are now 96k new cases a day (REACT includes asymptomatic cases) based on study of 86k people aged 5 or above, more than double the same study 3 weeks previously. With about 960k infected at any one day nationally. It's pretty difficult to see another full lockdown...
