I'm surprised its lasted as long with two teams playing on it tbh, lots of pitches with only one regular team have been called off in the last 6 weeks. Look at The Valley, that has 3 or 4 games called off there recently
Even without people boycotting attendances wouldn't be much higher. I haven't been to sixfields but I wouldn't consider myself to be actively boycotting the games.
As for point 2. I think it was a case of getting in a better quality of player rather than signing a worse player on a perm. We could have probably signed Dagnall on a permanent but Pressley didn't see him as a long term answer, there was likely a few more that we could have signed but Pressley...
Seabourne was already here and loans finished with Dagnall and Mcguire so in terms of squad size we are about the same as we were for the MK Dons and Crewe games. We will probably just be about ok to cope, although it would be nice to have 2 more players to be comfortable (A striker and central...
Relatively happy although we won't know if it is a good window or bad window until the new signings have played. I'm pleased we managed to hold onto most of our players except Clarke who forced a move. Also got two permanent signings in early on.
I still think we need another CM if Barton leaves, wouldn't mind Gary Gardner back on loan if he's available. Had a lengthy injury I think so Villa will probably be looking to send him somewhere for fitness.
He's just signed for PNE
PNE now have C Davies, K Davies, Garner, Beavon, Hume and Gallagher at striker. Wouldn't mind a cheeky bid or loan for Beavon or Hume
The way I see it is not many players are going to come to us and sign a long term contract with the current situation at the club. Most deals will be short term, the player will look to impress with their short stay to attract the interest of clubs in a higher division and get a move.
He'll be throwing a strop the moment things start going wrong for him. The first time he gets dropped or criticised by the manager or receives stick from the fans he'll be chucking his toys out of the pram.
I don't think he realised how good he had it here (minus the obvious issues with the...
I think Craig Davies of Bolton would do a fantastic job in this division. Is 28 so good experience, supposedly in advanced talks with PNE though about a loan to them according to their fans.
