Let’s say you sign Souare on 1 year deal (as anything longer would be stupid given his last few seasons) and loan Maasten and Reid has another season in the 23s. That leaves us needing 2 left backs again next season? It’s not sustainable.

Played good amount of games in french top flight and premier league. He’s 31, he wouldn’t be coming here for 1/2k

Believe he can play left centre back or left wing back but if we’re bringing Maasten in do we need another? Reid looked OK against Mansfield, I’d rather have him as second choice and let him develop than bringing in a 31 year old who would be on decent money who hasn’t played for over a year...

Burroughs looks like he’s ready to be 3rd choice right behind Dabo and Dacosta. If we’re bringing in 2 more centre backs this makes sense for both parties, think he is a decent league 1 player.

Hopefully means 2 centre backs incoming then.
