I don't think he favoured him over O'Hare. O'Hare played 4 games in 14 days on his return and got dropped to the bench so I'd imagine that was to give him a rest. Next time Palmer started was against Plymouth when O'Hare wasn't in the squad for whatever reason but he came straight back in...

I do think it's telling that he's made changes at CB and Kitching still hasn't got a look in. If he doesn't play over Christmas/New year in some capacity then I think it's safe to say he's not in the managers long term plans.
