    Haji Not Alright.

I've had tendinitis in my upper arms for probably 40 years. However, it comes and goes with no warning of onset and really no rhyme or reason to it.

    Vs Leamington

Keep an eye on George Shepherd. Only sixteen at the mo, and played for 60 minutes tonight. Has shown great promise with the u18s last season.

Football has an ownership problem- Coventry City

It's quite nice these days, walking around town (Hinckley) seeing how few are wearing Leicester shirts of late. Wonder why?

Football has an ownership problem- Coventry City

Good job we killed off the Bantams nickname then - poor bugger would've had a stroke at a derby match. Don't mention the 'other' Bantams...

Yes, watched it yesterday. Decent. Shan't bother with his Reading one though 😉

    FUTURE ENGLISH STADIUMS

No, it's not happening. It's bad enough that Worcester have been resurrected with very little sanction and plonked into the Championship for 25/26 without Wasps too. Holland is up to his balls in Worcester now, so it's hard to see how he could bring Wasps back from the dead too (fingers crossed).

    Coventry gigs

Far too many to quote. When I think back to buying the two Greatest Hits (inc More Greatest hits, both of which I still have and play) LPs in the early-ish seventies, it makes me realise what a huge catalogue of work the man has.

    FUTURE ENGLISH STADIUMS

You do know how old that is don't you? Any progress? None. And as for a potential re-start next season...

It was fairly shot even then tbh, and he just didn't look interested at all (yeah, I know, it's Bob). I still probably play his stuff as much as anyone's though.

Saw him a good many years ago (noughties) at the NEC Arena or whatever it was called. As much as I love his work, I don't think I'd bother again.

    Wheelbase, Triumph, and Sky Blues

I don't suppose too many on here will recall the sixties motoring programme Wheelbase (I do 🤪). This 1966 episode covers car manufacture at the Standard, together with a short interview with Jimmy Hill, The Sky Blue Special, and lots of other social history. Very nostalgic but very enjoyable.

    Cracking album - agreed.

    First music bought

Now you're talking. Saw Free at the Lanch just after this released. Great night - and supported by local lads Indian Summer (have their album too). Kossoff was on fire, as was Simon Kirke. Don't think I've seen a drummer work so hard; utterly soaked with sweat!

    Things that annoy you

My dog is mostly Segugio (an Italian hunting hound) who spent the first two years of her life in a cage in Cyprus. We can't keep her OUT of the fckn sun!

Some sumptuous stuff there. Why is he not in the England squad? 😉☺️

    First music bought

Never bought a single single (an EP, yes: Dire Straits' Dance EP). Being antedeluvian, I, like the OP, pre-date downloads (and much else that da kidz understand) so I'll go with my first LP (i.e. what for some odd reason is known as a 'vinyl' - yeugh - nowadays). It was, and still is as I still...

Who was in goal the furst game you saw ?

Bob Wesson or Dave Meeson - can't remember which, but think it was probably Bob. Then we signed the great Bill Glazier and never looked back (until he broke his friggin' leg 😉).

    The Holiday 2025 thread

Just had a week in the van at Chapel Las Vegas, Lincs. We just fancied somewhere easy to get to and cheapo. It was great for the first three nights as we had the site to ourselves, and then about five other tents/vans turned up. It was still ok until about 4.30am when two ambulances and a police...
