I think more than anything the FL want everyone who starts a season to finish it. In Pompey's case, the FL probably feel a little embarrassed that their 'Fit and Proper' persons test let various lunatics run the club, so are keen to get their Trust as owners.

Considering how the FL have bent over backwards to help Portsmouth (who fked over local businesses, charities and HMRC and are STILL to be docked any points this season), I'd be more than a little irked if they 'made an example' of us!!
