    Bit of Xmas Eve entertainment

They really should have consulted her about where she was goi g to be doing her shopping before announcing which store to close, unacceptable.

'Played' suggests at the end of the game, to be clear, I'm against it when the games ongoing.

Collins should not be playing under any circumstances (nor Dasilva).

To be honest, I'm really looking forward to Boxing day, sell out crowd, chance to erase the memory of Saturday, (or to compound the misery!). Hopefully be a good day.

    PLYMOUTH FALLOUT

I'm totally against it but I never said people shouldn't do it, I think it's counter productive but they're entitled to do it if they wish. If I thought it did any good I'd join in but I don't think it does.

What? Any journalist worth their salt should ask about the keeping situation, its a hot topic of discussion among the support But Lampard was right to give it short shrift.

Well that's the question Ive been asking and the standard response seems to be, ignore what he says. So as I keep repeating ad nauseum, local media interviews are gospel, until they're not!

    Defensive coach / Goalkeeping coach

But they just don't seem to have any record of improving keepers though. It seems to me to have been a problem position for ages and just when we think we've cracked it it all goes wrong.

Anything's an improvement on Collins and the lad needs taking out the firing line for his own sake.

So Wilson was as bad in the play off season as the following season, one when he won the golden gloves the other when he got dropped in October. OK then. And you talk about editing history! As for Dovin, if he can't get in ahead of Collins then he should give up

He worked with Marosi before that who also went to shit, admittedly post serious injury, and Wilson, won golden gloves then started his own collection of howlers. And there's clearly something going on with Dovin though I've no idea what. So, yeah, that's a succession.

That seems a reasonable assesment though we were shipping goals when Dovin was playing as well.

Whoever asked the question was right to ask it, and Lampard was right to give it the curt response that he did!

Match Thread Coventry City - Plymouth Argyle Match Thread - Thursday 26th Dec

Think Saturday was about a lot more than just being bad defensively. We looked disinterested and half hearted. As you say, we have shown the character to fight back on many occasions this season so not sure what happened at Portsmouth? Has to be a reaction Boxing day.

    PLYMOUTH FALLOUT

Yeah, I'd hate a drop off because I do enjoy games much more with 25k plus crowds. A lot of the 'new' ST holders I know were attendees who would go to a few games a year who've now gone all in so they're not new supporters as such .

    PLYMOUTH FALLOUT

Nah, it's more than that. Pre dates any talk of Robins going. But when you get to the brink of promotion, finally splash some cash and get record ST sales year on year expectations are bound to change. Be good if we could get back to the atmosphere at the CBS we had in our first season back...

He's got a point. May be the same fanbase but there's definitely been a change in attitude. Was inevitable I suppose but still a shame.

    It’s a new day it’s a new dawn

100% correct. In fact, I think watching on TV gives you a clearer view of the on the ball action. Being in the ground allows you to watch the off the ball stuff better which you don't get to see on TV. Even watching from different parts of the ground gives a totally different perspective
