You have my full sympathy. I was gradually shunted into that kind of environment after the company was taken over. Happily I managed to wangle early retirement and redundancy though.

Try Dancing Down the Stony Road. It's proper Delta Blues-style for the most part, inspired by his struggle with pancreatic cancer around the turn of the century, and as such might be seen as a hard listen - but I absolutely love it. Probably the best thing he ever did (IMHO of course).
