Tbf the Norwich manager Lambert never actually rated McDonald and he hardly played, it was more the Norwich fans said he didn't really get a fair chance. And as bad as McDonald was with us, he isn't a terrible striker in this division.

I'd agree with that, maybe a wing back also. Clarke has been pretty average there so far and it gives him an opportunity to move back to centre back so strengthens in that position also.

Pressley basically acknowledged last seasons recruitment was extremely poor, when he came I think he said there was one scout at the club. Now he has teams in several places in England and Scotland. I'm prepared to let last seasons dealings slide at the moment as he was hampered by embargo and...

Urquhart leaving makes no difference, he wasn't anywhere near the first team and has barely even made the bench in the past 12 months despite us having a small squad and Pressley willingness to trust the young players.

I think there is an argument for Haynes to keep his place ahead of Pugh if he keeps performing to a good level, we're also looking to bring in a centre half so Willis/Webster could yet be pushed out of that team. Apart from that looks a decent team, could do with more attacking/pacey wing back...
