Do we think Blair would have won without support from the Murdoch papers? I’m intrigued to know peoples thoughts as I was still in school at that point so maybe not aware to the mood of the country at that time?

One more point - the party has been in decline since 2007. The only arrest to that decline was Corbyn in 2017, with that manifesto. I don’t understand why Starmer isn’t looking at building on that, rather than returning to the pale, uninspiring nonsense that was Labour 2010-15. Miliband had his...

I don’t disagree with a lot of what you are saying here but a free points to add. Starmer may be trying to entice that soft-Tory vote which he will definitely need if he was to get a majority, but at what cost? Disaffect the people like BAME voters, the young, those that can’t get on the...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

The majority realised that the economy didn’t work for them. Brexit was their opportunity to voice their protest - sadly those with legitimate concerns had their voice hijacked by disaster capitalists that saw it as an opportunity to screw them over even more.

I’m not picking on a post at all - just adding an observation. The politicians can argue about fishing waters and rights all day long - but they aren’t able to control the movement of fish are they??

Stop over analysing it - I don’t know the first thing about fishing rules or legislation - nor at any point have I claimed to. My point is the fish will go where the fuck they like.

Funny guy.... ;) He was on with Nick ‘Gammon’ Ferrari. To be fair to Starmer he had no idea what the caller was going to say - but once they started he should have shut them down.

Am I missing something here? Surely the best fishing water is where the fish are? Or is Boris planning on building a fish wall around the UK border and making the EU pay for it?

Even if they’d got rid of Corbyn between 2017 and 2019, with Labour following their absurd PV agenda they would have been hammered regardless of who was in charge. The reason we are here where we are is because Labour though they knew better than to respect democracy.
