    Undoubtedly but do think it'd be slow regardless. There were 81542 cases by specimen date as of 29th Dec. 29544 last Fridaym (22nd Jan) which is a reduction of 63% in 24 days. Look at the data from the first proper lockdown, 7th April peak at 5437. It wasn't until 17th May that cases dropped...

    TBH case numbers got so high, 81k by specimen date on 29th Dec, so with R around or just below 1 it is going to take some time for that number to fall

    The EU regs being drawn up to block exports have to be enacted at the discretion of a member state. I doubt very much an individual state would be as silly so as to apply it.

    That's fair enough, but if they've signed a piss poor contract with AZ which is unenforceable, they should not be using legislation to otherwise restrain AZ's ability to export its goods. It is a massive overreach.
