Official January transfer window for CCFC

Seems rated by an AFCB fan on Twitter #ccfc now have best CB in League 1 by a country mile, great business by their board, and delighted for @b_cargill #afcb

    Ramage

We were desperate for a CB, he was available, he looked half decent in training, we signed him, it hasn't worked out how we planned as it's clear he doesn't or hasn't in the past played the way we want to, but we have no option but to play him as we have no other option. Longest sentence ever...

Come to expect nothing less tbh. Not always a bad thing, but sometimes the dives are blatant and embarrassing, but if it gets a free kick, and we actually do something with it (like make sure Bigi is nowhere near it) I won't complain ha

How do you rate Mogga's signings this season?

Majority have looked decent. Obvious ones that haven't have already been mentioned as being duff.

    RIP Sir Terry Wogan

Very sad. And it's another cancer victim :( RIP Terry Wogan. Will always be remembered as the voice of Eurovision!!

The stewards at the front sometimes try and get involved but their padded jackets seem to hold them back from moving quickly :)

    Ball Boys

How would you know if te ball is going to spend more time in front of R behind the advertising boards? Only way to combat that would be to double up, have one in front and one behind, or open up the boards; make gaps for them to run between. Does seem we are short on number though, since...

Me too! But I do think he could do with having a rest, just I wouldn't want Burge to come in for him.

    Scunthorpe (Home) Match Thread

He definately cost us points hence why he hasn't gotten back in to the team. Also if he was ever planned to be our number 1 keeper, he would have walked back into the team after the 'cold' he had which let RCC into the team in the first instance. As for RCC being awful for 11 games in a row...

So had he been I goal for us for example, and parried or dropped quote a lot, fans wouldn't be getting on his back? I get people don't like RCC, but would they rather we have Burge return? I know inform one wouldn't!!

Think most people agree that it had no alefdecr on the overall 'result' more than our performance. Could you ever see us winning that game, irrespective of how dire the ref was?

Wonder what Scunny fans thought of their keeper who fumbled nearly everything that was thrown at him yet will probably be remembered for that one save V Armstrong? :thinking about:

    Linesman

He was in the half Scunny were attacking when he made his arrival into the game. I'm pretty sure he could have warmed up while the game was going on since most of the play was in that half :D

    Referee

I hope the club use the video of the game they record to put together a clip of every decision that showed bias towards Scunny, especially when he helped Williams from his feet. In today's games, linesmen won't even kick a ball back when it lands at their feet so why on earth would a ref feel it...
