    Doug got it right

    So who's running the business?

Are we going to "shit" our way up!?

Yeah, we've switched formation late on in a few games but the starting formation has been a back 5. The players coming back will be a game changer but I still think it would take a brave man to change it at this point. It's a nice conundrum for Lampard to have and with Sheaf and Wright back...

Are we going to "shit" our way up!?

My issue is, and I know a lot of people disagree with me, but is now the time to try and find out? 6 league wins in 7 playing a back 5, brave man to change it.

Are we going to "shit" our way up!?

You'd like to think we could yo yo. Of course receiving parachute payments is one thing, using the money wisely is another. That's something I think King could be trusted to do though I think theres a strong possibility he'd punt us if we got promoted.

Is Lampard actually Gareth Southgate in disguise?

The defence is doing fine but regardless, challenging for automatics? That's big gap to bridge mate, as we saw v Leeds.

Is Lampard actually Gareth Southgate in disguise?

But there are currently at least 2 managers in the EPL who haven't got the personnel available to play their preferred formation/style but theyre ploughing on regardless. So credit where its due, he recognised the issue and made the necessary changes and it's reaping dividends.

I gave your post a like for the'Jota should be booked' comment. Not getting involved in the refs weight debate!

Is Lampard actually Gareth Southgate in disguise?

I think Lampard has had to be pragmatic. Lost Wright before he was in the door. Sheaf and EMC followed. Came in just before the busiest period of the season so was limited with regard to time on the training pitch. I think we'll see a massive change in approach at some point, perhaps start of...

    Ellis simms

Hard to disagree with that. And I say that as someone who spent the early season, (both this season and last season), defending him but it got to the point where it did look like he was going through the motions. I do think he's a bit of a complex character though so imagine he takes some managing.

Are we going to "shit" our way up!?

Yeah, though I'm desperate for a new phone so wasn't sure if it was that though other websites are OK.

Are we going to "shit" our way up!?

It's a useful stat, but like most stats, they don't always tell the full picture. A good XG when you're on a poor run of results suggests you'll turn it round, and that's exactly what's happened to us on several occasions.

Are we going to "shit" our way up!?

They've basically used the money to finance their new ground. It was also going to be a phased opening but the revenue they've earned means one of the phases can now be brought forward and will start generating revenue earlier than planned. What they've done should really help the club long...

Are we going to "shit" our way up!?

For a club that quite recently flirted with going out of business I don't know why anyone wouldn't want to achieve something that would bring in game changing revenue. I totally understand that talking about football in terms of finance is quite vulgar to some but unfortunately that's the...

    Doug got it right

I think we have a better squad, (Robins was often left short on numbers), though 1st choice 11 v 1sr choice 11 the play off final teamwas hands down much better. And I'm fairly sure the style we're playing now isn't the long term vision, but we're on a run that's put us in play off contention...

Are we going to "shit" our way up!?

It would be a hard watch, but the parachute payments should put us into the same brackets as the Leeds, Southamptons and Burnleys of this world so I'd take it.

    Ellis simms

Well hopefully, though we've been here before with Simms. If he carries on in this form though it does increase the Wright/EMC conundrum Many were assuming a return to 4 3 3 with Wright through the middle and EMC left when both were fit but Simms is undroppable in current form.

Are we going to "shit" our way up!?

I think you're right. But we need to get their first. I don't think many of us thought we would at the turn of the year so to be in the position we are is a great achievement. One step at a time.

We don't, we've got to play Albion so it's in our hands.
