The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Mmmm. I doubt anyone intentionally voted for this but the reality is you did. People like Farage and Co have abandoned them, all they have left is the remoaners fighting their corner.

Mine won’t be going back. As a parent I feel I need to take up the slack of incompetent government. All he’ll be doing is sending us into a 3rd lockdown if he rushes everything back.

The DUP are currently threatening to collapse the power sharing agreement and IIRC last time that happened it triggered assembly elections which to me sounds like a mistake for them that will be more ill advised than May’s decision...

Not sure what the common sense is in forcing lockdown to end early is. I now personally know 4 people who’ve had it, 1 died, 1 got over it in a weekend pretty much but the other 2 look to be suffering from long Covid. The latter being an unknown and seems to get more common with the new strains...

My kids are saying that home learning is no different to school at the moment. Aside from seeing their friends on a daily basis. Where would you stand on refusing to send your kids and insisting that they continue to learn remotely until the adults in the house have been fully vaccinated?
