There are certain notice periods they have to give, and towards the end of the season they shorten as we get tithe business end but I don't think they came move a March game with just over 2 weeks to go but I could be wrong.

Nothing to do with intellectual superiority. Its common sense. You can say a keeper is a good shot stopper while also criticising his distribution.
