It would, especially with two home games to follow. One is against a resurgent Southampton, but having seen a fair bit of them, we should be looking to turn them over at home.
Why would we do that? We've had a weeks rest. They've had 120mins on a bog of a pitch. Go strong, smash them and take 3 points. Worry about Preston and Southampton later.
I'm not panicking. I remember what happened when Rudoni was out earlier in the season. BTA came in and we went on an unbelievable run. Long gone are the days when we had to put in a youngster to cover an injury. We've got great cover nowadays.
Tbh it's our best away win of the season. Couldn't give a shit if the pass % was 0. We went 2-1 up and managed the game brilliantly. Many of them stray passes were probably last 20 when we're just instructed to defend.
