Let's hope he puts in consistently good performances from now on. The whole team needs consistency and what other better place to start than with the captain.
I shouldn't really be saying this without clearing it with my peers first ..... but I can confirm us Realists are quite confidently able to predict a top 1st to 24th place finish this season.
You heard it here first.
Not even seen the film.
Yet another horrible episode in the recent history of the world. Good job we've only had 21 centuries to get everything right isn't it. :censored:
The Realists triumph in the end.We have the intelligence, the sword of common sense and the power of history behind us!
Come the end of the season we will be having a ticker tape parade while the optimists become pessimistic and jump off bridges and the pessimists become more optimisitc about...
I would simply follow the giraffe. Always been a big fan of the long ball game.
Favourite player would have to be one of the Crainie's.
Or Peter Crouch.
Agree with that. We need a ball winner in the middle of the park. Someone who can harry and harrass and break up play and help us gain possession of the ball.
We need a bit of bite. Hoped that would be Bailey, but he's not quite that type of player.
Spot-on.
When the season started I wasn't at all interested in the competition, but now considering our league position and how we have come through a couple of rounds it has become much more relevant.
We need the money and we need the good cup run to help raise spirits.
And my old dad makes me laugh about Clarrie Bourton.
My dad is 82 and one day last year I asked if he ever watched Clarrie Bourton play. He got really annoyed at the suggestion and was most perturbed at the thought that I believed he may have seen him play. 'Well before my time' was the retort...
And it's also a big worry that by all accounts Hartlepool could have been 2 or 3 goals up after only 20 mins yesterday.
We are still only putting part good performances in. Until we eradicate that we are going to keep losing matches regularly.
