Agree with a lot of that. Still not entirely sure what his best position is. But there's a match winner there - very good stats on goals (and I'm sure assists as well).

For someone who mocks our own players - you sure don't like being called out yourself do you? And you certainly don't seem to enjoy our players doing well.....I think that says something about you. Open goals don't usually involve the keeper being in play either and closing down. On saying...

I'll let Hiwula's excellent finish tonight do the talking. Having a fantastic game.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. AFC Wimbledon Match Thread - Tuesday 17th Sep

I've played at pretty high levels. It was not impossible to hit first time but was extremely difficult. The photo was very misleading and did not represent the spin of the ball traveling very fast and in a split second at Hiwula. It was also spinning slightly behind him. It's also...

That's a totally ridiculous statement. That picture does not tell the true story in any sense. It was technically a very difficult ball to control and convert. It's very easy to criticise and mock without having a clue as to what it takes to get to the level those guys are at on the pitch.

    O’Hare

Totally on the same page Dreamer to be honest. Robins is an interesting character. Absolutely ruthless in a quiet way in changing personnel and improving the team year after year. Clearly doesn't have favourites (unlike Strachan as an example!) and if his own signings are not up to the mark...

    O’Hare

Dreamer - that's a good post and absolutely hear what you are saying. My only counter to that is that O'Hare instantly makes teams defend deeper against us and as such creates space for others. It means we play higher up the pitch. He also seems to combine very well with Godden (who is...

Great post Legia and agree with a lot of this. I do possibly see Kelly and Walsh playing together in a dream midfield 3 with Allen. Barcelona style. Or alternatively Kelly and Walsh with O'Hare as the attacking midfielder would be very exciting. Not automatically sure about O'Hare replacing...

    O’Hare

Don't tempt fate Clint; absolutely the type of fixture that we traditionally tend to f..k up big style !!

Agreed Paxman. O'Hare is so good that he pushes teams back 10-15 yards and creates space. An absolute nightmare to play against. Also think O'Hare makes Godden a much more dangerous player (as he can pick out his runs) and is perfectly suited for playing in fast wingers into offensive...

A few harshly written posts on Hiwula and Jobello. And I see what people are saying. I've actually been a critic of Hiwula's for being highly consistent in drifting out of games. To be fair though this season he's been called upon to do a lot more defensive work than before - and he was...

Love the description of Kastaneer!! Actually love the guy - to bring on someone with such high energy and who is so unpredictable makes the final quarter of games even more entertaining. Also loved the way he fronted up to their big defender who took out Godden late on - clearly a team player...

Good post and 99% agree. Just maybe a little harsh though on Dabo - he over commits at times - but I like him a lot he adds attitude and aggression to the team. And gets forward. And at one point in the game he was in midfield and perfectly executed a Cruyff like turn to set up an attack...

Fair comments above. O'Hare is brilliant. To be fair to the wingers they both got through plenty of defensive work today. McFaz great performance - is vital for our defence. Hyam similar. McCallum improving - what a prospect. Walsh - excellent first half - you can see the quality. Kastaneer is...

    Max Chomping at the bit

I agree with every word of this. I think the hate though is mostly limited to a couple of the more 'controversial' posters on here - and thankfully they are not a reflection of our wider support.

    Max Chomping at the bit

I think the reality is that even if Max scores a 10 minute hat trick in his return to the team including a Houchen type header, a Rooney style bicycle kick from the edge of the area and a rocket back heel from the half way line...................... ...........Grendel will still find something...
