    Championship Record

When I first read that I thought that can’t be right, surely we did better when Coleman was here and SISU splashed the cash in the early days. Yet...

    Match Thread Stoke City

Be delighted with a draw but like others have pointed out Stoke have injury issues plus Souttar is banned after being sent off against PNE, coupled with they’re on a bad run of form, nothing to play for etc I don’t think all 3 points is out of the question either.

I apologise for saying Matty James flatters to deceive

This will be the first full season he’s played since Leicester were last in the championship. I think he just needed a good run in the team to settle in and rediscover that he’s actually a decent player, certainly at championship level. Which he now seems to have done.

    Champions League.

    Safe

In all seriousness though could be on Wednesday. Our players will be buzzing again for it, although Stoke have improved this season they’re still very beatable and no longer have anything to play for so could be on the proverbial beach. Beat Stoke and we’ll be safe.

    Robins linked with Bristol City.

? That even remotely right. 2012/13 at the Ricoh 55points after 10 point deduction for entering administration 2013/14 at Sixfields 51 points after 10 point deduction for exiting administration. 2015/16 at first full season back at the Ricoh 69 points.

    Robins linked with Bristol City.

So you’re saying that there’s no possible way that we could have bettered last season’s achievements at the Ricoh? Based on what? You’re also wrong about Sixfields. Our last 2 seasons at the Ricoh both trumped the Sixfields season including a club record points total since 3 points for a win...

    What is CCFC status?

When it comes to facilities I bet we fair quite well. Half decent training ground and a decent academy probably puts us above the majority of teams in the pyramid and maybe even a surprising number in the championship. Seem to remember Burnley having an awful training ground even when first in...

    Robins linked with Bristol City.

I think almost anyone would have. The first mistake SISU made was sacking Dowie and appointing Coleman.

    Robins linked with Bristol City.

Fair doos. My memory has let me down. They did get promoted under him with a big budget though, so big it broke FFP rules. I doubt he’d achieve anything under the constraints Robins has had and his record (Leicester aside) isn’t anything to write home about. I still wouldn’t want him over...

    Robins linked with Bristol City.

So has Mowbray and Boothroyd. I don’t know what credentials having been sacked from Leicester having inherited a team that had won the premier league yet achieved nothing with them gives him. He’s done nothing successful as a manager and Leicester aside his win ratio is shit at every club he’s...

    Next season

If we stay up I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it’s equally as difficult as this if not more. Next season has got to be about cementing our place in the championship as opposed to just staying up.
