I think the selection was as much about getting players minutes and resting others in a game we aren’t expected to get much out of. Using the squad and making sure our key players are fit for the next few games.

This run of games we’ve played Ipswich who basically win every game at home, Leeds with one of the best home records, Southampton on something like a 14 game unbeaten run. People need some perspective. We can’t win every game.
