Apologies, I meant to quote CCFCSteve, not your reply to him (y)
Yeah, said the same to my boy, Vik's 'dribbling' is more rampaging, looking almost out of control, so can't really imagine him gracefully gliding around the keeper!
Fortunately the team isn't picked on what you'd like the players to do.
Allen has started every game but one. Robins clearly sees him as an integral part of the way we play.
Just re-watched Vik's 2 one-on-ones. The first he did try to chip it and the keeper saved it with his stomach. Not a lot Vik could do really after sprinting 50 yards and Palmer's ball taking him slightly wide -
The second one, the keeper was again out quickly and again Vik had just sprinted...
Fair comments from Rowett -
Millwall manager Gary Rowett:
"Against a team like Coventry, when they've got Gyokeres up front, what you can't do is give balls away and leave him space against defenders because he's very, very good at utilising that space.
"At times he looked an immense threat...
Coventry City manager Mark Robins told BBC CWR:
"We were made to work hard but we showed some really good quality and we were good value for the win.
"To keep a clean sheet was important - and the goal that won it was worthy of winning any game. Kasey Palmer did well and Vik's turn and strike...
Exactly. And as we've moved up from L2 to the Championship, they can't have too badly overall!
Constantly pointing the failures is like moaning about a striker that scored a hattrick but missed a chance for a fourth.
