    The council will pick things up for next to nothing as well, when I bought my property the old owners left some bulky furniture, I paid £15 for them to take away 3 large wardrobes and a bed.

    That is something I do agree with to a degree, I don't think we should be getting involved into other countries issues. I also think we should be funding refugee camps in neighbouring countries, so they have a safe destination and so they don't have to travel to western Europe.

    I never said anything about Syria, my question was what is so bad about mainland Europe that they choose to put their own life in danger to make the crossing to the UK.

    Possibly a bit far like but just saying we should defend our boarders. I tell you what, why don't we have a 2 tier tax system, people who want them here can pay for them, and people who don't want them here, don't pay towards their up keep. Seems fair to me.
