A real positive to come out of this season

Yep, just checked. That was Shaw not Robins. From Robins onwards we have shown much more fight.

Did say from the point of Robins on. Shrewsbury was one of Shaw's wasn't it?

    Ccfc film night

Nope. Loads of clips, rather than full matches and starting from the 60's all the way through to the 2,000's. Deano timed it though so both 'halves' lasted 45 mins each. There was extended highlights of a few games, but I would say no more than about 6 or 7 mins each.

And that's just my wife!! You are right about the miserable and surly though. They are so deadly serious. No-one ever seems to smile on a photo or at a celebration. Think so many years of Stalin wore them down and it does get bitterly cold in the Winter too. Lots and lots of corruption too...

A real positive to come out of this season

What you talkin about? I had another glass half full post not so long back when one of my Russian in-laws died, so there is a degree of regularity if you merely seek it out.

A real positive to come out of this season

Is that of our spirit and fight and desire as a team. Too many seasons we have had loads of games where the team hasn't turned up, the manager has gone mental and we have just showed a lack of passion and effort. Ronnie Moore - Tranmere, after their defeat at Walsall on Tuesday; Moore...

    Ccfc film night

Talk last night was that they may take this round the clubs, so life in the old dog yet. Must have took Deano hours though, especially to get each half down exactly to 45 mins each.

    Ccfc film night

I had the same thing .... only I got my 83 year old mum and dad to come over on the bus and babysit. Did feel really guilty about it though. The wife let me down at the last minute after I had been constantly reminding her about it all week long, but I had the ticket and really wanted to go...

Yeah, football. I remember that. Wasn't that something they used to do for fun in the olden days?

    Ex player scouting network

I was at the end nearest the doors where Billy Bell was sitting, but on the seats against the wall. Was on my todd. I was the sophistacted, intelligent looking one. ;)

But you've just done it again!!:facepalm::facepalm: You keep saying 'pubes' when you clearly mean 'pubes!'

    Was Thorn a legitimate contender?

Well said OSB. Couldn't agree more. Unfortunately many City fans got swept away with this initial honeymoon period and the respite from the Boothroyd negative tactics, but it seemed very clear to me that Andy Thorn was not a manager pretty early on. In the end we just passed the ball about in...

Seems like they are just doing this through the kindness of their hearts though. Can't knock that. Ex players covering the whole of the country for the benefit of Coventry City.

    Ex player scouting network

Nope, not just north of the border. Bell said last night that we have ex players covering all parts of the country. Scotland, Wales, the North, the South and the Midlands. 18 ex City players in total.
