No idea if that was true or not, same with Kitching. But young man with attitude has a think about things and decides to knuckle down isn't really front page news in any walk of life.

I'd like to think that refers to fringe players rather than the main group who Lampard seems to think highly of though speaking negatively doesn't seem to be part of his modus operandi so you have to read between the lines a little as, for example, his comments about young wingers at the club...
