No disputing the start, but what about the end? Did we have enough players competing for places? I know I seen some complacent performances as the season went on, and we had no pla B nor any decent replacement players

They did play a part, but I think not having a 'squad' ready for the season ahead was part of the reason why we had to sign the players we did in the end, which proved to be desperation signings in the end. I'm all for avoiding a repeat of that, but at this rate, are we not coming close to...

But that was year 1 of a 2 year plan. This is supposed to be year 2. Surely we've learnt from our errors last season, and not signing players quickly enough was an error, right? Or atleast not 'enough' players

TM said himself his vision was to have all players reporting back on day 1 of training. Don't think even he expected to see us as short as we are now given how close we are to the start of season!
