Agreed, Portsmouth are in a similar position to us atm. As you mentioned, big games upcoming up so I don’t want to get too carried away. 2 pts off of automatics with 2 games in hand, I would take that all day. I don’t care about whether we finish 1st or 2nd!

Is it in our own hands?

We’re two points off 2nd place with 2 games in hand. Yes, we’ve only won 3 on the bounce, but since we’ve only lost 3 games all season, and only once since October, we’re picking up points in 90% of our games. Meanwhile, you’ve got P’boro who have lost 30% of their games, even Rotherham have...

Biamou got the winner... Robins clearly has a clue, so why not try having a bit of faith and trust the process? Reading the meltdown after the game is hilarious.

My Wycombe supporting mate joked that we left it late to grab the win. I said we played pretty poorly and gave them too many chances. His response is interesting, saying: ‘it’s about winning the games where you’re playing shit’ and added that he reckons we’ll win the league. From that...

Agreed. In fairness, our 2020 schedule has been packed with extra FA Cup games. For me, you could tell the squad is pretty tired since we chose to only bring on 1 sub today in the 90 minutes.

I think playing 120 minutes v Bham did not help us v Bolton at all. We looked a bit lethargic in places. We gave Bolton far too many chances down that O’Grady channel, Rose and Dabo struggling to cope with him. 3 points is 3 points and onto Portsmouth on Tuesday!

I thought it was Rose getting beat by O’Grady rather than Dabo. Attacking-wise, everything we did came down his side.

1 bad game this season cannot be considered our kryptonite just yet. For starts, we’ve changed formation and with that, our tactics too. I’ll reiterate that we’ve lost only once since we’ve played 3-4-2-1.

Similar thinking over here! We’ve only lost once at home, so that ought to put us in good stead. You could argue we haven’t played the top teams at home yet. Which is true, but then again, with the exception of Rotherham, we didn’t lose to these teams away. The fixture list hasn’t been kind...

If we get 7-9pts in the next 3 games, it will be huge for us. Right now, I think we’ll finish in the Top 3.

He has been injured for half the time he’s been with us... to be balanced.

I’d play 5-3-2 Marosi Rose McFadzean Hyam Dabo McCallum Kelly Walsh Allen Bakayoko Gooden Pask in for Rose, Biamou for Bakayoko if they’re not fit enough to play. I love how our bench could have Shipley, Westbrook and O’Hare on it. Really good options to have and you’ve got Jodi Jones slowly...

    Matt Godden

Biamou was good, but his finishing wasn’t that great I’m afraid. Against Bolton, I’d like to see a 5-3-2 with Allen, Walsh and Kelly in midfield with Bakayoko and Gooden/Biamou upfront. Give us an option against the ‘weaker’ sides. I was very impressed with Allen, he took the ball forward out...

I usually work in an office where Cov fans are the majority. Today I was in the office where Villa and Blues are the majority, including my manager. It was a tough morning for me haha! Let the Villa fans laugh, we’ll be playing them next season.

I’ve done the maths and it’s pretty even - equal points gained and lost in the last 10m. You’ve forgot Tranmere at home. Gained: Donny, Pompey, Blackpool, Wimbledon Lost pts: Oxford, Peterborough, Shrewsbury, Tranmere, Sunderland The Peterborough and Oxford examples are pretty neutral ones...

I share your frustration, but equally, we’re top of the ‘comeback table’ table too. So more often than not, we’re the team snatching the better result. Every team around us could probably cherry pick instances where they should have, won or drew a game when lost/drew a game. That’s the nature...

Their second goal we couldn’t do much about. It was a hit and hope cross that has snuck in off the bar.
