I coach junior football.
The amount of young kids wearing Cov kits is quite amazing, we are definitely on the up.
Yes the sessions are littered with Liverpool, Man United etc but nowhere near the numbers they used to be.
Listened to talk sport for 20 minutes of Championship chat on Saturday morning, we didn't get a mention, so are definitely completely off the radar.... can't wait to prove a point.
I have noticed several comments about the poor standard of goalkeepers, which in many cases is correct.
The English keeper made an absolute worldie to stop a mishit cross that was looping over her head, she looked beaten all end's up but somehow saved it.
It was a game changer.
Credit where due.
In the 1920's women's football was more popular than the men's game
Crowd's of 50,000 were common place, obviously the war had a major part to play.
But presumably it was a good standard, that many people wouldn't pay to watch drivel.
I think the biggest difference between mens and womens football is the mistakes that happen, many games are riddled with poor mistakes /decisions.
I watched tonight's game and was thoroughly entertained, some excellent football on display.
Anyone selling a ticket for the final 🤔
Love Callum, but I still have nightmares about the "miss" against Blues in the Cup.
On a side note, I think he will have a Big season either with us or as it seems elsewhere.
He was diagnosed as having Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) a split personality.
Fans used to sing "There's only Two Andy Gorams"
Which he took with great grace.
