Shevchenko tips England to reach final

Yep, me too. As long as they put in a good effort on Sunday against Italy then I will be quite satisfied.

Shevchenko tips England to reach final

Yep. If they are aggrieved by the ball clearly crossing the line then we too would rightly also have been aggrieved if the goal had been given when the bloke was clearly offside.

Shevchenko tips England to reach final

Yep. We've reached the quarter finals and that is an achievement Would be quite happy if that is as far as we go.

Shevchenko tips England to reach final

England better not get that far!!:facepalm: It's my daughter's birthday and I have a slot booked at 6 p.m. for the Harry Potter Studio Tour in Watford on the day of the final. The tour lasts for 3 hours and it was the only slot they had available. I simply cannot change it and...

    Rooney

As has been said here and was said on tv last night, the bloke is just rusty. He needs game time and as the match wore on he improved. Roy Keane was right when he said England need Wayne Rooney in the side if they want to progress further. He scored and should have had at least 2 more.

I don't know why people believe we are going to do better this season, Wingy, but believe it they do.

    If i was at

Don't think he is in win win situation here myself. AT got a fair bit of stick from fans last year and this season in League One, in spite of everything, the expectancy from many fans and bookies is that we can make at least a play-off challenge. We struggle next season and Andy Thorn, rightly...

Walgreens to buy 45% stake in Boots before owning it outright in a couple of years.

Didn't Boots take over some other pharmacies? Now the shoe's on the other foot.

Agree with pretty much all that. Don't consider myself Britisih, I'm English. And I'm sure if you asked any Scot what they are they would say Scottish ahead of British every time too.

Thorn: Players believe they will bounce back

What a bullshit lie of a story, I bet Thorny never said any of theses words, I bet when the interview took place that Thorny just said "look CET my jobs shit, SISU are d1ckheads and you need a story, so make one up cause I just don't give a shit anymore, I'm only here cause its a fucking job...

Thorn: Players believe they will bounce back

Fook me, 210%? What the fook next! It used to be the good old rational and reasoned 100% It, then went up inexplicably to 100%, even though that made no sense at all, like 25/7 and 8 days a week. Then people started talking about 150% and now 210%. This isn't just Thorn mind, there's fooking...

I'm English, nearly all my friends are English and over the years I must have worked with hundreds and hundreds of England fans. Don't know where you get your info from but no-one hardly ever talked about 66 if at all, almost certainly all but never mentioned the war and like me most of them...

    England v Sweden Matchday thread

Certainly think if Rooney comes in that Welbeck will not lose his place and it will be Carroll to make way. Carroll is fine in certain games but you kind of get the feeling and as 'a la Platt' at Cov, England may well end up just lumping the ball to him. Welbeck and Rooney really work well...
