    New Potential Manager Thread...

Have I seen right that Cotterill is the new favourite? Also seen CET reporting that Pressley remains it but sure I seen via skybet that Cotterill had moved to favourite? I hope it's not him or Evans......

Match Thread Coventry City vs Northampton Town (Checkatrade)

Thi k after the WHI tie they won't expect a big turn out. However I do think that's a little short sighted and they should have made this change for the WHU and not a more local one where two first teams will be playing (well closer to first teams than an U21 tie). Can see them having to open...

Wasps winning hearts and minds with CCFC fans

Most of the white on the fronts does scrape off. Just needs a bit of elbow grease. Perhaps at the boycotted game this could give the boycotters something to do?* *Tongue in cheek :D

    Match postponed?

I was coming back for that game too. Well, in time for it anyway, not specifically for it.

    Match postponed?

3 players? How many did we lose last season and they wouldn't let us postpone? Always the minimum was 4 and would expect as a minimum that it's first team internationals!

Can see us winning as I won't be there! And if they do, I may have to stage a personal boycott for future away games until the run breaks :)

    Clapham gone too now

Clearly showed too much potential to be the one to step up in tone's place

    Is Venus escaping criticism

I agree it started long before he came in but if we compare his performance and influence, as we believe it was (he was the money / figures man and would go after targets identified), from last season to this, when it seems he's primarily been a board member rather than the money / figures man...

Mark Venus set to take charge

Whilst its very early, just seen this early tweet re next manager. Clearly Venus is favourite. Not surprised to see Robins in there though. Would people have him back if he apologised for shitting on us? Knows the league, our start last season aside hes probably got us playing the best football...

Oh yes, quite recent that too. My memories not what it used to be ;)

Mark Venus set to take charge

I find this a very odd move. Hes played very little part on the onfield matters (on a match day anyway; we don't really know how involved he is on the training field), yet despite there being other coaches still on the books, whether we rate them or not, hes suddenly stepped up? I hope he does...

    Is Venus escaping criticism

When he first arrived his change in role worked. He then moved onto the board in similar fashion as Waggott did. Tried doing multiple jobs (effectively trying to cut costs but double workload). Possible coincidence that our downturn has coincided, in the main, with him going to sit on the board

Mark Venus set to take charge

Haven't we seen this tried before? Or a wannabe attempted it anyway:(
