ACL: "We are absolutely flabbergasted by Tim Fisher's statement today"

If ACL didnt care why have they not evicted the club despite not receiving rent for 12 months?

ACL: "We are absolutely flabbergasted by Tim Fisher's statement today"

Why do the local press not ask on what authority Fisher is making these statements?

I will never support coventry city if they are not in coventry

Depends on what you class as the club really. The model of football clubs doesn't fit well to the model of a standard business.

I will never support coventry city if they are not in coventry

If the golden share is the club then I dont see what authority Fisher has to take the club anywhere. My opinion is ACL are trying to show that the administrator is control of the club.

Acceptable to anyone with common sense. If they spend £25m on a new ground to save them having to pay out £400k a year, it will take well over 50 years before seeing a return on that investment. Great business sense that.

I will never support coventry city if they are not in coventry

I might be wrong here but was this latest offer to negeotiate not from CCFC Holdings? The rent row now has nothing to do with CCFC Holdings or Sisu, it is up to the administrator to meet with ACL. The current rent agreement still exists between ACL and CCFC Ltd. For ACL to then allow a...

I will never support coventry city if they are not in coventry

Forced out? CCFC have left the Ricoh of their own accord after turning down an acceptable rent offer. At what point have ACL said they are evicting the club?

If there was a genuine plan to move back

Any new ground would be built on such a shoestring budget it would make the Ricoh look an architectural wonder. It would be 4 small indentical stands.

I will never support coventry city if they are not in coventry

No its not. 10k people paying £15 a ticket x23 games gives an income of £3.45m minus £1.3m rent is £2.15m 5k people (if were lucky) paying £15 a ticket x 23 games (rent free) gives an income of £1.72m

I will never support coventry city if they are not in coventry

I would travel Lands End to John O'Groats to watch my team at an away game, but I will state now I will not watch a home game outside of this City under any circumstances. If you don't understand the principle of why then its pointless me even trying to explain it to you.

Ok, when Sisu return their football club to our City then I shall resume supporting them.

Agree with the OP, I would actually go further than indifference to the franchise club and would be pleased to see them do badly.

If they didn't care about the club why didn't they evict them 6 months ago?

    SISU Finances explained

We finished 15th in league fecking one!!! how is that a decent team?? Pretty sure we have never finished higher than 17th in the Championship with these clowns in charge, and you think thats good??

    Well done away fans!

Well done for showing that by winning a few games we could be a well supported club. Shame the team couldnt win at the Ricoh to encourage those home crowds, but across the whole football league our away figures look pretty good all things considered. 2929 Leeds United 2511 Sheffield...

If there was a genuine plan to move back

Building just outside the City boundary would still give CCC a say over it as it affects Coventry roads and other infrastructure. Also the City Council and the County Council have a very close relationship with each other, I'm pretty sure Warwckshire Council would be pretty unwilling to help...

Once the club leaves Coventry then it stops being my football club. In fact I would be happy to see it lose.

If there was a genuine plan to move back

They have no choice? So Football stadiums can just be built anywhere without planning permission then?
