Anyhow. Really pleased to see the club taking a strong stance on this.

It means it isn’t time to stop taking the knee. It doesn’t mean that the person who started the thread is a racist. He could be but it could also mean that he was premature in his assumption that racism has ended because that’s the only way taking the knee becomes irrelevant.

Other trivialisation of breaking the law from MP’s today include “it was only 10 minutes”, “covid rules were broken by most homes” and “if the PM did break the rules and gets fined it’s only like getting a speeding ticket”. Not even pretending that they didn’t break the rules anymore instead...

You could read that as a dig as well though. Went in to attend a meeting only to find that a party had been thrown in the room that an official meeting was supposed to be taking place.

It sounds like dealing with the fallout is no more of a distraction than the parties themselves. Boris Johnson only seems to do two things in office. Party and photo opps while delivering meaningless three word catchphrases. Not sure what Boris does but it doesn’t seem to be running the country...
